Anime High School RP How to Play: Your First-Session Guide
Learn how to play Anime High School RP: claim your first rewards, reroll your student, fight outside safe zones, heal inside them, and start socializing around campus.
Anime High School RP is a Roblox game by next project! that mixes player-versus-player fighting with school roleplay. The whole game runs on one loop: claim your rewards, reroll your student's look, walk outside the safe zone to fight, retreat back inside to heal, then finish quests and shoot hoops with other players. Once you understand the safe-zone rule — attacks only work outside — everything else falls into place.
This guide walks your first session through that loop in order, then shows where the bigger systems (Clubs, Titles, Tools, combat Styles) slot in once the basics feel comfortable.

What Anime High School RP is
The official description sums up the four things you do: fight other students, make new friends and socialize, unlock accessories, and customize your character through rerolls or by using Yen. Every activity on campus feeds one of those pillars:
- Fighting is the main draw — it is PvP, student against student, around campus.
- Socializing happens through shared activities instead of a menu: basketball, chess, emotes, and simply hanging out in the school's spaces.
- Customizing reshapes your student's name, body, outfit, and accessories using rerolls or Yen.
- Campus systems — Clubs, Titles, Tools, and combat Styles — layer on top of the loop once your first session is under your belt.
Your first session, step by step
A first-session walkthrough from October 2026 shows how the pieces connect in one sitting. Here is that route.
1. Claim the rewards waiting in the safe zone
You spawn into a campus with marked safe zones — the starting room is one of them. Rewards sit right there: play-time rewards tick up just for being in the game (one new player claimed one and received a reroll), and it is also worth claiming your daily rewards as soon as you join. While you are in that first room, peek at the quest menu so you know what the game will ask of you later.
2. Turn codes into free rerolls
Rerolls are the currency of your look, and codes have granted batches of them — one first-time player redeemed a code and immediately had ten more rolls. New codes arrive with updates, so check the Anime High School RP codes page for the current list before you start spending.
3. Reroll your student into someone you like
The customization menu lets you type new name fields directly; everything else runs on rerolls. Rolling reshuffles height (the number visibly jumps with every roll), hair and ears, the top and bottom of your outfit separately, and the accessory slots — face, back, neck, backpack, and the headset. Spinning an empty accessory slot can land you an accessory you did not have. Not every dial accepts a reroll, and your rolls run out — when they do, you can buy more or lean on Yen instead. The fine-grained methods live in the character customization guide.
4. Step outside and fight
Combat only works outside safe zones: punches simply will not connect while you stand indoors or on the basketball courts. The settings menu lists the combat controls — one new player read his as Combat T, then Combat R — so check yours, walk out of the safe area, and pick a target. If you lose and your HP drops into the yellow, do not chase revenge; run back into a safe zone and stay put until you have healed. That retreat rescued the walkthrough player twice, once while another student was actively chasing him. Keep an eye on stamina if a schoolyard scrap turns into a long chase — the stamina guide explains the resource.
5. Take quests and join the campus
Quests complete through normal play: the walkthrough's first quest, "make four basketballs," finished itself while the player was shooting hoops, with the reward waiting to collect. Around campus you can shoot at the indoor gym court or the outdoor court, play chess in the classrooms, fire off emotes (there is a backflip), or just wander the compact map past the fountain and the knockout leaderboard. Because these gathering spots double as safe zones, they are the natural low-risk place to meet other students — there is no separate social menu to open; the school itself is the social space.
Where the bigger systems fit
- Clubs — create your own or join one.
- Titles — collectible labels displayed above your character.
- Tools — equippable items for activities around campus.
- Combat Styles — worth experimenting with if fighting interests you more than socializing; the newest Mythic Style is called Togi. How Styles are obtained is a topic for the combat styles guide.
- Yen and accessories — Yen is the spending side of customization, and accessories add more ways to change your student's look; see the Yen and accessories pages.
- The shop — VIP and fighting styles are purchasable there, but neither is needed for a first session.
None of these are required on day one; they are ways to make your mark once the core loop feels comfortable.
Where to go next
If your first session sold you on the fighting, the combat guide picks up where this page stops — detailed fighting rules and stamina tactics. If you would rather perfect your student first, start with the character customization guide and its breakdowns of rerolls, Yen, and accessories. Either way, grab the live code list on the codes page before you head back to campus.
